Most businesses experiment with a handful of tools, find some are useful and some are not, and then struggle to move beyond personal productivity gains into something that genuinely shifts the numbers. The question is not which AI tool to buy. It is which use cases actually pay back.

In my work with UK SMEs across professional services, construction, hospitality, and financial services, three use cases surface consistently. They are not glamorous. They do not require specialist infrastructure or large budgets. But they deliver, reliably and measurably, when embedded properly.
